Abstract

845,264. Tractor power lift mechanisms. FISONS PEST CONTROL Ltd. Oct. 11, 1956 [Oct. 12, 1955], No. 29022/55. Class 79(1). A linkage between an agricultural implement and motive means, includes, in addition to the normal power lift linkage, an adjustable, flexible connection for relieving the power lift mechanism of the load. An implement 2 is connected to tractor 1 by a power lift linkage 3, 5 and by a flexible connection 8, 9, 13, 14 attached by plates 10, 11 to the implement lifting pins 12 and by a lug 6 to the tractor, the top link 5 being attached by a lug 15 to the bar 14. In operation, the implement is raised slightly above the required height and the slack in the flexible connection taken up by sliding yoke 13 on bar 14 and fixing it in position by a pin 16, the implement then being lowered until the flexible connection supports the implement. The flexible connection may include iron or steel chain, straps, belts or cables which may run over a pulley attached to the yoke 13. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 764,484.
