Abstract

A moistener device comprises a casing providing a reservoir for water or other liquid, a rotatable member mounted in the casing and arranged to dip into said liquid, and a disinfectant located in a receptacle in said rotatable member so as to be immersed in the liquid as the rotatable member rotates. Tissues and the like to be moistened and disinfected are applied to the rotary member or to another roller in contact therewith, which may be covered with foamed or sponge rubber.ALSO:A moistening or disinfecting device comprises a casing providing a reservoir for water or other liquid, a rotatable member mounted in the casing and arranged to dip into said liquid, and a disinfectant located in a receptacle in said rotatable member so as to be immersed in the liquid as the member rotates. Tissues and the like to be moistened and disinfected are applied to the rotary member or to another roller in contact therewith which may be covered with foamed or sponge rubber.
