[Class 19.] A device for cleaning the skin in the absence of water comprises a piece of felt impregnated with soap, water, and a volatile organic liquid miscible with water, such as acetone or alcohol, which accelerates the evaporation of the water and thereby renders the use of a towel unnecessary. Disinfectants or scents may be added to the impregnating solution. The treated pieces of felt are packed in an airtight container.
