Emulsions, making; medicinal preparations.- Dioxane homologues and mixtures of them, obtained by treating with dehydrating agents homologues of glycol, polyglycols or glycol ethers, and mixtures of such bodies, are used as dispersing agents for fats, waxes, soaps and perfumes and can be used for the production of cleaning and medical preparations, boot and floor pclishes &c.
