Abstract

A cleansing tissue is impregnated with a composition comprising sulphated lauryl alcohol, ethyl alcohol or methylated spirits and water. A perfume may also be included. The solution of the sulphated lauryl alcohol may be of 20 to 90 per cent by weight. The preferred proportions by weight of the composition are sulphated lauryl alcohol 20-80 per cent; ethyl alcohol 10-50 per cent; and water 10-50 per cent. The perfume may comprise 0.1-5 per cent The tissue may be paper or fabric and may be impregnated on one face only, the other face having printed matter thereon. The impregnated tissues may be assembled in book form.
