844,464. Woodworking cutters. ELLIOTT & CO. Ltd., B. Aug. 29, 1958 [Sept. 2, 1957], No. 27547/57. Class 145. A spindle moulding cutter comprises a cylindrical holder 1 with a narrow flange 2 and one or more slots 3 for profiled blades 7, the shape and setting of the blades being such that their maximum cutting radius lies slightly beyond the surface of the flange so that the flange acts as a depth stop enabling a workpiece to be moulded in several passes without the danger of snatching. The blades have a rectangular base 9 fitting the lower part 4 of the slot 3 and a cylindrical shank 10 secured in a hole 5 by a screw 12 bearing on a flat 11 which is elongated to allow radial adjustment of the blades.
