Abstract
844,032. Valve amplifying circuits. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Jan. 14, 1959 [Jan. 14, 1958], No. 1386/59. Class 40(6). The anode current of an amplifier is maintained constant, despite variations in the supply voltages, by deriving a part of its cathode bias from the H.T. + line over a non-linear resistor 8, e.g. a thermistor. The arrangement is applicable to a television receiver, the valve comprising the frame output stage and feeding deflection coils 11 via a transformer.
