Abstract
843,776. Forced-flow steam boilers. WALTHER & CIE A.G. July 2, 1956 [July 2, 1955], No. 20446/56. Addition to 843,777. Class 123(2) [Also in Group XXVI] In a steam turbine plant as claimed in the parent Specification, the furnace incorporates burners operating under pulsating combustion which are provided with cooling jackets through which the heat carrier is circulated. The furnace 3 with a conical slag discharge hopper 4 is covered at its lowest part with cooling tubes 5 in which steam is generated. The condensate is preheated in a preheater 8 before entering the boiler. The fluid heat carrier under low pressure cooled down in the intermediate superheaters passes through a pipe 9 to the burner cooling jackets 10 and thence to the radiation heated section 11, the contact heating section 12 and the pipe 13 to the intermediate superheaters. The burner cooler may form the final heating stage of the heat carrier.
