842,469. Selvedge shedding mechanisms. CROOK, J. M. July 28, 1958 [Aug. 15, 1957], No. 25770/57. Drawings to Specification. Class 142(2). Internal selvedges are formed by doup healds carried by two heald shafts actuated by the same tappets as the healds for the plain-weave ground. The doup threads are supplied by spools separated from the warp beam and pass round an easer bar operated by a crank on a half-speed shaft.
