A shaft coupling for a motor vehicle transmission comprises a rubber block 2 in which are bonded studs 3, 4 which extend oppositely through holes respectively in a socket 1 and a plate 7 for bolting to shaft flanges and have shoulders 6, 9 axially spacing the block from the socket and the plate, which latter are centred by a nylon ring 10 retained by a welded flange 12 and a rubber ring 11.
