671,653. Universal joints. BRANDT, C. E. J. Feb. 16, 1948 [Feb. 17, 1947; Jan. 28, 1948], Nos. 4515/48 and 4516/48. Class 80 (ii). [Also in Group XXXII] The invention relates to road vehicle suspension means (see Group XXXII), but according to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 a shaft coupling may comprise a housing 94 rigid with one shaft 95, and resilient blocks 93 interposed between recesses in the housing 94 and recesses in a member rigid with the other shaft 100. The pre-compression of the blocks is adjusted by means of a plate 96, studs 98, and nuts 97. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
