A flowmeter comprises a cylindrical rotary piston 6 whose casing is made in two parts, a lower part 4 serving as a measuring chamber and an upper part 1 provided with inlet and outlet tube connections 2 to the measuring chamber, the base 3 of the upper part 1 serving as a closure for the measuring chamber.
