Abstract
784,759. Water meters. PRESNA MECHANIKA NARODNY PODNIK, and SALAMON, K. June 27, 1955, No. 18540/55. Class 69 (1). A water meter has an inlet 2 leading via a straight downwardly slanting portion 4 to a trap 8 under the measuring apparatus 5, a cleansing opening closed by a plug 6 being arranged on the axis of the portion 4 to enable good access to the portion 4 and trap 8. Smooth flow of water is obtained by cutaways 7 at the junction of portion 4 with trap 8, and by providing plug 6 with a concave upper surface 9.
