Abstract
839,268. Stoppers. QUADRANT TUBE CO. Ltd. Feb. 4, 1959 [Dec. 3, 1957], No. 37645/57. Class 125(3). A dispensing tap for a powder or like container 4 comprises an inner member 1 to fit the neck of the container having perforations 5 and a bead 6 around its upper edge over which fits the rim 10 of a cap which has similarly placed perforations 9 and is rotatable to bring the two sets of perforations into and out of register, the movement being restricted by a pip 12 on the cap engaging a depression 11 in the inner member. According to the Provisional Specification, the disc forming the cap may be mounted to be movable inside the inner member.
