Class 25 A cowl comprises an elliptical cross-sectioned disc 6, Fig. 1, supported above a part-spherical cap 5 5 surrounding the opening 4 of a circular flue 2. In a cowl arranged for several flues an elliptical crosssectioned rectangular member 9, Figs. 3, 4, is supported above a curved rectangular plate 8 by elliptically cross-sectioned members 11 located between the flues.
