Class 120(1) [Also in Group XXV] A roller leather for co-operation with fluted rollers in gilling and combing machinery consists of an endless band 7 having its inner surface fluted to a depth less than the depth of the flutes of a roller 4 with which the band co-operates. The depth of the band flutes is preferably one-half that of the roller flutes. The bands may be moulded from oil-resistant synthetic rubber or from a flexible plastic composition, such as polyvinyl chloride.
