835,345. Coin-freed meters. LANDIS & GYR Ltd. Dec. 9, 1958 [Dec. 11, 1957], No. 38503/57. Class 27. A housing 3 which is releasably attached to the back dial plate 1 of a consumption meter, contains a mechanical drive such as gears 7, 9 which connects the dial gear train 8 to the debit side of the mechanical differential of a prepayment mechanism. Housing 3 may be attached to plate 1 by means of a lug 4 inserted in a slot 2 in plate 1 and a rotatable detent member 5.
