Class 40(3) [Also in Group XXXVI] An exposure meter, in which the galvanometer is rotated to allow for exposure factors, has a mask which covers more or less of the window through which the galvanometer pointer is visible depending upon the position of the meter zero. The magnet 8, coil 9, pointer 10 and control spring 11, Fig. 1, of the meter are rotated as a unit together with the disc 3 which carries 'the mask 5, by a pinion 6 connected to means setting the exposure factors. In a modification, Fig. 2, (not shown) the magnet is stationary and the spring is connected to the disc which rotates. To save space the mask 16, Fig. 3, may be arrested by a pin 19 as soon as it is clear of window 12 and driven back by engagement of the projection 20 with the face 21.
