Class 97(1 ) A camera with a built-in exposure meter has an adjusting device which ensures that the speed of the film in use is taken into account during exposure measurement, the adjusting device having a manually movable setting member within the camera and accessible when loading with film, the dial which shows the setting being concentric with a spool spindle. In the form shown a knob 2 is rotated to drive, through gearing 3, 4, a dial and to set the dial in accordance with film speed. The dial is visible through a window 6 but is covered when the spool is in place. The knob 2 also rotates a screw 8 to move a reference mark 9 in the viewfinder field 11. In use, the exposure is adjusted until the exposure meter pointer is aligned with the mark 9.
