Abstract
835,017. Pipe joints. HUET, A. May 17, 1956 [June 23, 1955; Dec. 30, 1955], No. 34384/59. Divided out of 835,015. Class 99(1). Two groups of concentric tubes 1 . . . 3, 4 ... 6, are interconnected by forming approximately concentric side apertures 7 ... 9, 10 . . . 12, in each group and connecting, e.g. by welding corresponding apertures either directly or through intermediate tubes 13 ... 15. The axes A, B, of the apertures of the two inner tubes, which in practise carry hotter fluids, are initially slightly displaced from the axis C of the aperture of the outer tubes, the differential expansion of the tubes during use causing the axes to become aligned.
