A cord grip for a twin cable is bent up from a resilient strip, preferably of vulcanized fibre, which has two parallel portions 10, 11 having holes 17, 171 ... 20, 20<SP>1</SP> respectively, each pair being joined by a zig-zag slit, and two apertured mounting flanges 13, 14. The strip is bent at lines 32 ... 37 to provide two pleats having portions of the slits lying on the bend thereof and the pairs of holes in alignment so that a wire pressed through the slits may enter the corresponding pair of holes and be held therein.
