833,846. Hollow-cutter head lathes; workfeeding. HOLZER, C., and BUSHE M., VON, [trading as KIESERLING & ALBRECHT, T.]. March 19, 1958, No. 8766/58. Class 83 (3). A machine for continuously-turning barstock 7 in a centreless-operation comprises a rotary cone-shaped cutting-head 5 carrying tools 4. The cutting-head is secured by a bayonet or like fixing 6 to the driving-member 2. The latter rotates in a stationary-head 1, the interior part 13 of which carries guide-rollers 12 for the work, which may be positioned close to the cutting-plane in the hollow conical part of the cutting-head. A rotating chip-breaker 14 is positioned adjacent the cutting position.
