Abstract

833,012. Cartons. MOIRA BOX CO. Ltd. Nov. 13, 1957 [Feb. 6, 1957], No. 4084/57. Class 18. In a display carton with a transparent lid, the latter is formed from a blank B of transparent cellulose acetate sheet, Fig. 1, folded up into a base 5 and sides 6 having infolding wings 8 which are overlaid by ends 7, and is placed in a rectangular former 9 so that marginal portions of the sides and ends protrude. A narrow strip of card, scored where necessary, is glued to the inner surface of the protruding edges to form an inner reinforcing rim R ; and a similar strip R<SP>1</SP> is glued to their outer surfaces.
