505,179. Cardboard &c. packages. HARGRAVE, G. G. Nov. 3, 1937, No. 30040. [Classes 18, 66, and 94 (i)] A package for sending articles through the post or for use as a display package or for other purposes, of the type formed from a sheet of paper, cardboard, &c scored and bent to form a rectangular container one wall 7 of which extends in its own plan( beyond the wall of the container and is secured to a flap 3, e.g. by gumming or stitching, has the extension 6 and the flap 3 scored or perforated to allow of their ready detachment to give access to the contents. A foldable sheet of paper may be secured to the inner side of panel 7 by gumming and may serve for bearing correspondence or advertisement; it is arranged within the package when this is closed. A finger opening may be formed in one edge of panel 7 so that one end 10 may be drawn out.
