Abstract

879,626. Cardboard boxes. FIELD, SONS & CO. Ltd. June 16, 1960 [Aug. 19, 1959], No. 28316/59. Class 18. An ornamental box with a hollow moulding around its periphery is bent up from a blank having a base panel 1 with interhinged strips 6 ..9 and 10 .. 13 hinged to the sides and bent around to form the moulding. The strips 8, 12 have a self-adhesive coating on their upper sides engaging adhesive 15 on the base to secure the moulding in place, and the outermost strips 9, 13 are bent upwardly from the base to form the inside walls of the box spaced from the hollow moulding and connected at the corners by adhesive tabs 18. The corners of the moulding are connected by adhesive tabs 17.
