832,112. Sawing stone &c. ANDERSONGRICE CO. Ltd. Oct. 13, 1958 [Oct. 18, 1957], No. 32683/57. Class 124. In a saw for stone or like hard material including a toothed disc 1 secured to a flange or flanges 2, 3 on a spindle 4, an annular collar 5 is clamped to or integral with the flange or flanges 2, 3 and abuts against one face of the disc 1 presenting a lip 6 defining a channel 7 for liquid coolant supplied thereto, communicating by orifices 9 with radial passages 10 defined by the adjacent faces of the disc 1 and collar 5. Radial passages 11 may also be defined by the adjacent faces of the disc 1 and the flange 2, communicating by orifices in the disc 1 with the passages 10. A ring may be placed between the collar 5 and the disc 1 having orifices aligned with the orifices 9 and the passages 10. A collar 5 may be on each side of the disc 1.
