828,357. Clocks and watches. BULOVA WATCH CO. Inc. March 20, 1957 [Oct. 11, 1956], No. 9078/57. Class 139 In an electric timepiece having a transistor circuit which maintains a tuning fork 1, Fig. 1, in vibration a deformable element is attached to at least one of the tines so that the natural frequency of the tuning fork vibration may be varied. The deformable element may constitute a wire 16 attached to each magnet drum 8. The centre of gravity of each drum lies along the axis of the associated tine.
