824,744. Seed sowing machines. MIDAVAINE-SIJRIER, P. K. Sept. 24, 1957 [Sept. 24, 1956], No. 30023/57. Class 6(1). A seed sowing device comprises a rotatable drum 2 mounted inside a cylindrical container 5, holes 9 being provided in the rim of the drum, the holes being closed at the inner end of the drum by a stationary member 11 provided with a spring-urged ejection member 13 for ejecting the seeds in the holes to a discharge opening 12. As shown the ejection member comprises a ball which is spring-urged against the inner face of the drum and partially penetrates each hole in turn as the drum rotates. A plurality of drums may be mounted in the shaft 1. Seed is supplied from the hopper 7. The ejection member is supported by rods 14, 15.
