Abstract

1,060,975. Seed sowing machines. E. JORDAN. March 18, 1964, No. 11418/64. Heading A1D. A seed sowing machine comprises a rotatable member 1A provided with openings 14, 15 which collect seeds from a hopper 1 and ejecting members 16A, 17A which are displaced to expel seeds from the recesses into an ejection duct 3 for sowing. As shown in Fig. 2 seeds are carried from the hopper 1 into the openings 14, 15 and ejected by members 16A, 17A which are provided with portions 16B, 17B which engage in a stationary cam groove 39, 40. Rotatable spiders 28, 29 are provided to facilitate movement of the members 16A, 17A. As shown in Fig. 6 the ejecting members 72 co-operate with a stationary cam 69.
