The subject-matter is all included in the parent Specification 1,189,647, but the claims relate to a baling machine having a baling chamber (11) in which crop material is divided into batches and moved to a delivery end of the baling chamber, a detachable bale-forming device (16 or 18) located at the delivery end and curved upwards and outwards therefrom, and a bale-tying mechanism (22) operable in timed relation to other parts of the machine to effect tying of bales when located in the curved bale-forming device.
