823,015. Hydraulic motors. BENDIX AVIATION CORPORATION. March 4, 1958 [April 5, 1957], No. 6949/58. Class 69 (2). An hydraulic motor consists of a rectangular bar 10 which has grooves 14 containing outwardly spring-urged vanes 12. Two rectangular members 20 have cam surfaces 28 against which the vanes 12 are urged. Fluid is introduced at, say, ports 32 and 36, leaks round the vanes and is exhausted through ports 34 and 38. A falling sequence of pressures is produced in the chambers between the vanes, forcing bar 10 to the right. Reciprocation is produced by a reversing valve (not shown) which changes over the inlet and outlet ports.
