Abstract
A veterinary anthelmintic composition comprises the double salt of piperazine dihydrochloride and ammonium chloride of formula C4H10N2.2HCl.NH4Cl.H2O together with a carrier. The carrier may be an edible solid such as an animal foodstuff and the composition may be prepared in the form of a tablet, capsule or solution. In a preferred form the carrier comprises water and a sugar such as glucose, dextrose or sucrose, benzoic acid and a yeast extract such as "Yeatex" (Registered Trade Mark).
