Class 120(2) A carrier arm bracket 2 for the upper rollers of drafting mechanism is mounted or a support bar 1 and held against rotation upon it by a clamping member 11 carried within the bracket 2 and having resiliently deformable arms 12 that can be clamped on the bar 1. A tightening bolt 8 passing through the bracket 2 bears against seatings 9, 10 of the bracket which encloses the member 11 so that tightening of the bolt 8 causes the resilient arms both of the bracket 2 and of the member 11 to close on the bar 1. In a modification, the bore of the clamping member is provided with inwardly-projecting separate pressure surfaces.
