Abstract

943,244. Roller mountings for rollerways. J. C. A. LEMARESQUIER. Dec. 15, 1960 [Dec. 16, 1959], No. 43286/60. Heading B8A. Spindle 13 of roller 14 of a rollerway conveyer is carried by rubber pad 1 supported by clip 22 located in notch 12 of conveyer side beam 11. Pad 1 is formed with a flange 9 and a central bore, the bore having a cylindrical part 2 and a flattened part 3. Spindle 13 is formed with thread 20 and two flats 21, thread 20 and flats 21 co-operating respectively with cylindrical part 2 and flattened part 3 of the bore so that the rubber pad can be screwed inwards or outwards along the spindle to vary the resilience of the mounting. Flange 9 protects bearing 15 from dust.
