Abstract

823,727. Overhead conveyers. FISHER & LUDLOW Ltd. Oct. 15, 1957 [Oct. 18, 1956], No. 31698/56. Addition to 819,343. Class104 (2). In a modification of the invention described in the parent Specification each actuating element 32a or 32b is mechanically connected to its associated disengaging element 31a, 31b or 31c by a spindle 34 provided with a flat abutment surface 34a against which surface 34a a pair of screws 8 are arranged to bear on opposite sides of the spindle axis to effect precise angular adjustment of the associated actuating element 32a or 32b or disengaging element 31a, 31b or 31c. The flat 34a may extend along the whole length of the spindle 34 or may be provided only at the points in the vicinity of the screws 8. Each screw 8 is provided at its inner end with a circular rib 8a, Fig. 4.
