Abstract

816,087. Hydraulic systems. ALLGAIERWERKE G.m.b.H. April 11, 1957, No. 11897/57. Class 69 (2). An exhaust line of an hydraulic system for a tractor is maintained under a slight back pressure which is used to maintain an infinitely variable hydraulic gear under pressure. A pump 1 selectively supplies liquid to a ram 7 or a motor 8 under the control of a valve 6. An exhaust line 10 has a valve 11 therein for maintaining a slight pressure upstream of the valve, liquid under this pressure being supplied through a line 14 to an hydraulic gear 15. An accumulator 17 maintains line 10 under pressure when valve 6 is in the position for the operation of the ram 7. A valve 13 in the line to the ram opens at pressures greater than the pressure prevailing in line 10.
