Hydraulische Bremsvorrichtung.
Hydraulic braking device. The invention relates to a hy draulic braking device, in particular for motor vehicles, in which the brake pressure is generated by a pump, which is from a rotating part when driving, for. B. the transmission or the cardan shaft is to be driven.
Braking devices of this type are known. They have the disadvantage that the brake pressure is difficult to control. Another disadvantage is that the brake pressure is not easily felt on the actuating lever.
It has also already been proposed to allow a continuously rotating pump to charge a pressure accumulator from which the required brake pressure is taken from valve devices via Ven. These devices have the disadvantage that the available accumulator pressure may not be sufficient for several braking operations in rapid succession. According to the invention, an automatic adjustment of the delivery rate of the pump to the respective needs with regard to braking force takes place in that the stroke of the pump can be changed by adjusting the pump cylinder, the adjustment being made by the fluid pressure generated by the brake lever via a pressure piston .
The pressure required to move the pump cylinder also gives the driver a feel for the magnitude of the brake pressure in the brake line network.
A pressure relief valve in the pressure chamber is advantageously controlled by a spring from the brake lever, in such a way that the closing force of the valve and thus the pressure in the brake line network is dependent on the respective position of the brake lever.
Two embodiments of the subject invention He are shown in the drawing. In the example according to FIG. 1, an eccentric 3 is arranged on a shaft 2 in the housing 1, which acts on a piston tappet 4. This is in turn arranged in a cylinder 5, which can be moved in the housing 1 against the action of a spring 6 and ground.
The piston 4 has a suction valve 7, which via a bore 8 with the suction space 9 BEZW. is in communication with a refill container via a liquid line 10. The sucked-in liquid passes through a pressure valve 11 into the pressure chamber 12 of the housing 1 and from there into the brake pressure line 13. In the housing 1, a pressure piston 14 is also arranged, which is displaced in a known manner via a plunger 15 from the brake lever. The Kol ben 14 acts via a spring 16 and an intermediate piston 17 on the pressure fluid in the pressure chamber 12. A pressure relief valve 18 of the piston 17 is acted upon by a spring 19 be.
The mode of operation of the device is as follows: At rest, the eccentric 3 runs empty, since the spring 6 has pushed the cylinder 5 against a stop 20 of the housing 1 and the plunger 4 remains without contact with the eccentric 3 due to Ent tension of its spring 21.
If the piston 14 is now moved by actuating the brake lever and the piston 17 is moved via the spring 16, a liquid pressure is formed in the space 12 which moves the pump cylinder 5. As a result, the plunger 4 comes into contact with the eccentric 3 and the pump begins to work, with a stroke that depends on the size of the adjustment of the Pumpenzylin ders. The blidende pressure in the pressure chamber 12 is dependent on the pressure relief valve 18, which is acted upon by the spring 19 to a different extent depending on the degree of displacement of the piston 14. The more the piston 14 is actuated, the more the spring 19 is loaded, and the higher the pressure in the pressure roughness 12 can rise.
The liquid flowing out through the valve 18 passes through a bore 22 into the liquid container to return.
The driver therefore only needs the piston 14 BEZW via the brake lever. 17, while the actual brake pressure is generated in proportion to the amount of control of the pump.
Another embodiment is shown in FIG. The pressure generation happens here in the same way. The piston 23, however, acts directly on the pressure chamber 24. The pressure relief valve 25 is arranged in a connecting line 26 between the high pressure chamber and the refill container and is controlled by a spring 27 and a pressure bolt 28 connected to the brake lever.
Depending on the spatial conditions, the part of the housing with the liquid pump can be spatially separated from the pressure regulator part in both examples, in which, for example, the pressure regulator is arranged under the footboard of the car and the pump is arranged on the gearbox itself, both parts only through a pressure line are connected.
