Class 97(1) [Also in Group XXXIX] A large electrostatic loudspeaker comprising a diaphragm of a material having a surface resistivity of the order of 2 x 10<SP>@</SP> - 1 x 10<SP>12</SP> ohms per unit square clamped between two spaced electrodes which may comprise a deposit of metal on sheets of insulation, has one of the outer surfaces treated with reflecting beads or embossed with a pattern of small lenses to form a screen on which a picture may be projected.
