Abstract

1278301 Electrography EASTMAN KODAK CO 25 July 1969 [29 July 1968] 37403/69 Heading G2H A charge image is produced on a dielectric sheet 22 at areas corresponding to raised insulative areas 21 of a member 20 by placing the sheet and raised areas in contact, forming an electric field between electrodes 23 and 26, disconnecting the potential source 24, and separating the sheet and raised areas. The raised areas may be embossed. The electrodes may be a coating or separate sheet. A glass plate may be situated immediately adjacent to each electrode to reduce the electric field, Fig. 2 (not shown).
