Abstract

815,407. Textile spinning rings; lubricating. EADIE BROS. & CO. Ltd. March 6, 1958 [March 7, 1957], No. 7538/57. Addition to 755,454. Class 120(2) The texile spinning ring of the parent Specification is modified in that the top surface is lubricated by a recess formed at its inner edge, the rear of the recess being of curved or arcuate shape. As shown in Fig. 1, the ring is formed with an outer annular groove b, carrying the lubricating wick c which emerges from it in two or more shallow recesses b<SP>1</SP>, b<SP>2</SP> on the inner bearing surface, and in two or more recesses b<SP>3</SP> of curved or arcuate shape which are formed at the inner edge a<SP>2</SP> of the upper bearing surface a<SP>1</SP>.
