814,354. Reflector arrangements for tubular lamps. LEITZ G.m.b.H., E. Sept. 18, 1957 [Sept. 19, 1956], No. 29373/57. Class 75(2) To reduce glare from a lighting fitting comprising tubular light sources 1 which are each flanked on each side by reflectors 2 extending parallel to the axes of the light sources, wedge-shaped reflecting bodies 3 are spaced longitudinally of, and below, the light sources to extend transversely thereof, each body 3 comprising two reflecting surfaces 6 which form a V in sections parallel to the axes of the light sources 1. The reflecting bodies 3 provide a cut-off of light above the planes 4 containing the upper edge of one body 3 and the lower edge of the adjacent body 3, such planes making an angle γ with the horizontal when the reflecting surfaces 6 make an angle with the horizontal of # = 90‹<SP>#</SP> 2 -. The reflecting bodies 3 may have reflecting lids 9a which may be convex as shown, or may be flat or triangular in section.
