Abstract

457,805. Optical reflectors. LUCAS, Ltd., J., and HANMER, F., Great King Street, Birmingham. June 6, 1935, No. 16446. [Class 97 (i)] In a cycle reflector comprising a light metal case b and a glass reflector a, the back of the case carries a reinforcing plate d from which diametrically opposite tongues e, Fig. 2, are cut and folded over to form a double thickness at the centre of the plate, the ends of the tongues being shaped to hold the polygonal head h of the mounting screw g against rotation. The plate d may be held against rotation by projections f in the rear side of the case.
