Abstract

811,467. Inductive signalling. MULTITONE ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. June 24, 1957 [June 26, 1956], No. 19800/56. Class 40 (5). In an audio-frequency inductive selective signalling system, comprising a plurality of receivers and a transmitter, both the oscillator and the inductive loop are simultaneously tunable to one of a plurality of frequencies, the tuning of the loop being initially adjusted according to its inductance, which differs with each individual installation. At the transmitter the oscillator circuit, Fig. 2, is selectively tuned by manual operation of switches M, N, P, T, which selectively energize one or more of relays X, Y, Z to operate contacts Y1, Y2, Z1, Z2, X, Fig. 1, to tune the loop L5. The tuning of the loop L5 is initially adjusted by manually operated switch S1, S2. In the oscillator frequencies intermediate to those selected by M, N, P, T may be obtained by manual operation of switches H, J, K, F which also energize one or other of relays WQ to close contacts W1, Q1, Fig. 1, and modify the tuning of the loop.
