810,673. Winding beams for dyeing. RHODEN DYEING Co Ltd. Aug. 16, 1957 [May 16, 1956], No. 15188/56. Drawings to Specification. Class 142(1) A warp is wound on a beam on which it is to be dyed under a tension which decreases as the beam fills. A spinner's beam from which the warp is being unwound is braked by a spring opposed by a pneumatic cylinder controlled by a weighted lever acted on by the tension of the warp between the spinner's beam and the dyeing beam; the attendant moves the weight along the lever from time to time as winding proceeds.
