733,889. Cleats. BROADHURST, C. J. April 1, 1954 [April 15, 1953]. No. 10310/53. Class 109. A rope, &c. 4 is fastened to a post, &c. 8 by means of a plate 1 having an eyelet 2 through which an end of the rope is passed and desirably knotted thereafter, the end portion being passed beneath a flat-spiral spring 3, carried by the eyelet 2, the rope, &c. on being passed about the post, &c. 8 being then slipped into a slot 5 ending in an enlarged portion 6.
