[Also in Group XVI] Sheets 10, Fig. 3, such as baseboards for printed circuits, and provided with opposed notches &c. 12, 13, are stacked in a magazine 24, Figs. 1 and 4, so that they are staggered in the direction of a conveyer 16, and are positioned and supported horizontally in the magazine by opposed tracks, such as 46, which engage the notches 12, 13 and by further tracks, such as 52, which support the rear edges of the sheets. The magazine comprises two inclined side plates 31, 32 supported on a base-plate 35 by upright members, the upright members for the plate 31 being mounted on a plate 39 which is adjustably secured to the base-plate 35. The tracks 46 are attached to the upper edges of the plates 31, 32, and the tracks 52 are attached to the inner walls of these plates by bolts 62a passing through horizontal slots 60, which provide adjustment. Vertical guides 64, 66 facilitate the introduction of the sheets between the plates 31, 32. The lower ends of the tracks 46 are turned downwardly directly above means for removing the sheets sequentially from the bottom of the stack (see Group XVI). Vertical rails 72, carried by supports 75, 77, register in the notches 12, 13 of the last few sheets. The bottom sheet is supported by rollers 116 carried by the supports 75, 77.
