809,219. Crown corks. EICHENBAUM, H. Sept. 23, 1957, No. 29867/57. Class 125(3). A crown closure cap with top wall 10 and skirt 14 has radial ribs 12 which increase in depth and width from the centre 11 of the cap and act as bell-crank levers so that pressure in the centre of the applied cap releases it from the bottle. A gasket 20 of cork or rubber attached by cement or other means enters the bottle mouth. In a modification, Fig. 12, the ribs 120 are located internally of the cap.
