Abstract

Aqueous dispersions for rendering textile material fireproof comprise polyvinyl chloride, plasticized with tritolyl phosphate, and ammonium phosphate with or without the addition of antimony oxide. In an example the dispersion consists of paste grade polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride and vinylidene chloride copolymer, tritolyl phosphate, antimony oxide, white lead and tritolyl phosphate paste, ammonium phosphate, whiting, colouring matter and water.
