Abstract
Fireproofing coating compositions exemplified consist of polyvinyl chloride 100 parts and tricresyl phosphate 100 parts with, in example (1), 10 parts chlorinated diphenyl, 10 parts antimony oxide and 6 parts lead carbonate, and in example (3), 10 parts chlorinated paraffin wax, 20 parts chlorinated diphenyl, 7 parts antimony oxide, 10 parts whiting, and 15 parts lead carbonate. Example (2) discloses a mixture of 20 parts 90/10 vinyl chloride/vinylidene chloride copolymer, 80 parts polyvinylchloride, 90 parts tricresylphosphate, 20 parts chlorinated paraffin wax, 20 parts antominy oxide, 10 parts china clay, and 8 parts lead carbonate.
