Abstract

A thermoplastic composition capable of being milled, calendered or extruded comprises a homogeneous blend of gamma polyvinyl chloride having a specific viscosity at 23 DEG C. in nitrobenzene of 0.36 or more and between 5 and 30 per cent of polystyrene or a copolymer containing at least 40 per cent styrene with isobutylene or butadiene-1,3. The composition may also contain other ingredients such as titanium dioxide, lead sulphate, lead stearate, waxes and oils.
